Dear Patients,
I am writing to inform you that my time with Middlesex Gastroenterology Associates (MGA) is coming to an end. I am proud to have been part of this community and MGA for the past 18 years and it has truly been an honor and a privilege to care for each of you during that time.
October 4th will be my last day seeing patients. I certainly recommend that you continue to receive your gastroenterology care with MGA. All of MGA’s capable physicians, PAs, and nurse practitioners are available to care for you, and your previous GI history is documented in MGA’s records. I would like to mention three providers in particular who have joined MGA within the past year. For your consideration, I have included some information about each of them below. This information is also available on our website at https://www.middlesexgastro.com/about.
Dr. Sean Liu joined MGA earlier this month. He earned his M.D. at Rush Medical College in Chicago and completed GI fellowship at UConn School of Medicine.
Dr. Homaira Rasool is a Connecticut native who joined MGA in 2023. She completed medical school at New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine and GI fellowship at Kent Hospital in Rhode Island.
Lauren Prior, APRN is also a Connecticut native who joined MGA in 2023. She earned her nurse practitioner degree at Sacred Heart University.
If you have an appointment or procedure already scheduled with me that needs to be changed, our office will reach out to you.
Thank you for having entrusted me with your health.
Respectfully yours,
Dr. Edmund Chung
