Ed Chung, MD

Dr. Chung was born in New York City and spent the majority of his childhood in northern New Jersey. He earned his high school diploma from Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts.

He graduated from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science degree Magna Cum Laude with Honors in Biochemistry. He received his M.D. from New York University School of Medicine in New York City.

He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Joined MGA in August 2006 after completing his fellowship in Digestive Diseases at Yale University School of Medicine. While at Yale, he received in-depth training in ERCP and the management of pancreatic and biliary disorders.

He is currently a member of the medical staff of Middlesex Hospital. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

Dr. Chung is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
