Lauren Prior was born and raised in central Connecticut. She graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Following graduation, Lauren worked as a registered nurse in the emergency department for 8 years. Additionally, she worked part-time at an outpatient endoscopy center, screening and prepping patients for various procedures. Recently, Lauren graduated from Sacred Heart University with the Silver Medal of Excellence academic achievement award, earning a master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner. Her professional interests include IBS, IBD, and GERD.

Lauren enjoys hiking, cats, and scuba diving when she is not at work.
