Dr. Gorgan came on board in September 2006.
He graduated from Medical School at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Targu-Mures, Romania, in 1995. He was a clinical instructor at the University of Oradea Medical School until 1997.
Dr. Gorgan immigrated with his family to the USA in 1997. Between 1997 and 1999, he worked in Research at Harvard-affiliated Beth Israel and Brigham and Women’s Hospitals in Boston, Massachusetts.
In 1999, he started his residency in Internal Medicine at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, MA. Dr. Gorgan graduated from the program in 2002 and was the chief resident and junior faculty at MetroWest Medical Center between 2002 and 2003. Dr. Gorgan completed his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Connecticut Medical Center.
Dr. Gorgan treats patients with a wide range of digestive health concerns. He has special training in ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), endoscopy, and anorectal manometry.
Dr. Gorgan is a member of Middlesex Hospital’s medical staff and is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
